Preaching in Plainfield

Speaker: Abigail
Good morning, brothers and sisters in Christ! It is a joy and an honor to stand before you in this blessed city of Plainfield. As I drove past the Indianapolis International Airport, I felt the Lord impress upon my heart that just as this city connects people to destinations far and wide, He is calling us to be connectors of His Kingdom—to carry the message of salvation to those around us.

Plainfield is thriving, with its growing community of families and professionals, its bustling shops and restaurants along East Main Street and Quaker Boulevard, and its massive warehouse district. But in the midst of this growth, I sense that God is calling His people to something deeper. A revival is coming, and it begins with us.

The Midnight Hour
I had a dream, and in this dream, I saw a clock on the wall. The hands were moving swiftly, and it was close to midnight. The Spirit of the Lord spoke to me and said, “This is the midnight hour—a time of urgency, a time to awaken!” Church, we are standing at the edge of something great, but we must be prepared!

In the book of Matthew, Jesus told the parable of the ten virgins—five were wise, and five were foolish. The wise ones had oil in their lamps, ready for the bridegroom’s arrival. The foolish ones were unprepared, and when the moment came, they were left outside. Are we ready, Church? Is our oil burning brightly, or have we allowed the distractions of life to dim our fire for God?

Some of us have been through a season of contending, of fighting, of pioneering. We have felt disillusioned, lost, and weary. But I hear the Lord saying, “I am restoring you! I am filling your lamps again!” This revival will not just be an emotional experience; it will be a movement that changes lives! It will be about winning the lost, healing the broken, and transforming hearts.

China, Russia, and Iran dominate the headlines. Fear grips the world, but we are not called to fear! The Lord is raising up a remnant that will stand in boldness and authority, moving in the gifts of healing, prophecy, and deliverance. Just as Daniel was restored overnight, God is restoring His people to leadership in this nation and beyond.
The enemy has tried to steal our voices, but Church, it is time to rise! The Lord is training us in the power of words. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 18:21 that life and death are in the power of the tongue. What we speak will manifest in our lives and in our circumstances.

I recall the story of a couple—both husband and wife died shortly after one another, but before their passing, they witnessed triumphantly to the hope of Christ and eternal life. That is the kind of testimony God is calling us to live. A testimony of faithfulness, of joy, of perseverance!

Some of you here today have been carrying promises that the enemy has tried to abort. You have faced trials, you have faced loss, and you have questioned, “God, where are you?” But I tell you today, just as Job cried out, “Oh, that I knew where I might find Him!”—God has never left you. He has been refining you, preparing you for what is to come.

I was informed recently of a financial blessing—a pension increase of $200. Some may see this as a small thing, but I saw it as a sign! A sign that supernatural provision is coming to God’s people. Expect increases, expect breakthroughs, expect miracles!

God is calling His daughters and sons to stand at the crossroads of “New Beginnings.” Will you declare, “Here I am, Lord, send me!”? Will you trust Him in the midnight hour? The world has radically changed since the turn of this century, and sin has increased, but where sin abounds, grace abounds even more!

The Spirit of God is saying today: “Breathe Me in, and I will fill you with everything you need to fulfill My call upon your life.” It is time to occupy the land the Lord has promised!

Closing Prayer and Call to Action:
If you have been feeling weary, if you have been questioning your purpose, if you know that God is calling you to something greater, I invite you now to respond. Step forward in faith! Let us pray together for revival in Plainfield, in Indiana, and in this nation!

Lord Jesus, we thank You for Your mercy and Your call upon our lives. We ask for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit, that we would be fearless, that we would be bold, and that we would walk in the power and authority You have given us. Ignite the fire within us, Lord! May we be vessels of Your glory, ready for the midnight hour! In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!

Church, the time is now. This is the midnight hour. Let us arise and shine, for our light has come, and the glory of the Lord is upon us!

Avery’s Vision: A Spiritual Awakening in Evansville

Avery had lived in Evansville, Indiana, for most of her life. She loved the vibrant feel of the city, the blend of history and modernity, the tranquil riverwalk along the Ohio River, and the lively energy brought in by the students from the University of Evansville and the University of Southern Indiana. But what she experienced one night in a dream was unlike anything she had ever encountered before.

In her dream, Avery found herself standing in the heart of downtown Evansville, right at the intersection of Riverside Drive and Main Street. The city looked familiar yet different. The streetlights cast a golden glow, and a soft mist hovered over the river. Suddenly, a powerful wind swept through, yet it carried a presence of peace rather than destruction. As she turned towards the Ohio River, she saw a mighty tidal wave rise—not of water, but of radiant, golden light.

A voice, strong yet tender, called her name: “Avery.” She turned and saw a figure clothed in brilliant white, His eyes like fire, yet filled with boundless love. She knew instantly it was Jesus.

“My daughter, do you see what I am doing in Evansville?” He gestured towards the city, and suddenly, she saw the streets come alive with a different kind of vibrancy. People were falling to their knees in prayer, worship rising from every corner. Families were being restored, and those who had long been afflicted found healing. The bars and restaurants, usually filled with the noise of the night, were now places where people gathered to share testimonies of transformation.

Avery felt overwhelmed by the beauty of what she was witnessing. “Lord, what is happening?” she asked.

“This is a fresh anointing,” He said. “I am moving in new ways, calling my people to abide in Me. No longer will they run to empty wells; they will find their source in Me. Those who have been accustomed to battle mode will now live ascended. Those who have been weighed down will rise in my strength.”

As He spoke, she saw waves of revival washing over the city. Churches overflowed with worshippers, and even those who had once rejected faith were now seeking His presence. The riverwalk, a place where tourists often strolled, became a place of divine encounters. People sat on the benches, tears streaming down their faces as they encountered God’s love.

“But Lord,” Avery asked, “how will this come to pass?”

He extended His hand, and in His palm, she saw a small seed. “It starts with a willing heart,” He said. “Those who seek My kingdom first will walk in a slipstream of My Spirit, carried by grace. The provision has already been made; the assignments are already set. They must trust, obey, and move with Me.”

Avery nodded, feeling a deep stirring in her spirit. She knew she had to share this vision. As the dream began to fade, she heard His final words: “Stay awake, positioned, present. The time of transformation is now.”

Then she woke up, the presence of the Lord still tangible in her room. She knew Evansville would never be the same again.

Why Westfield is a Top Choice for Families in Indiana

On a Sunday afternoon, the congregation at the local church in Westfield, Indiana, gathered for their weekly discussion. This week, Aria, a long-time member of the church, led the discussion on the topic of community and the best places to live and visit in Indiana. The conversation took place in the church hall, where members of all ages listened intently.

Aria began by introducing the topic. “Although Indiana is often called ‘The Crossroads of America,’ it is so much more than highways and farmland. We have some of the best cities and towns in the country to live, study, and visit. I thought it would be interesting for us to reflect on what makes a place feel like home.”

She continued, “Let’s start with our own town, Westfield. We know it’s a fantastic place to raise a family. It offers a sparse suburban feel, superb public schools, and job opportunities. With Grand Park, the largest youth sports campus in the United States, we see a lot of young families moving in. And of course, we have the nickname ‘Crossroads of Indiana’ because of the major highways that run through our area.”

An older gentleman, Mr. Thompson, nodded. “I’ve lived in Westfield for over 30 years. I remember when there were hardly any developments. Now, we have new houses, businesses, and parks sprouting up all the time. The community has changed, but I still feel that small-town charm.”

A young woman, Sarah, added, “I agree! My kids go to school here, and I love the sense of safety and community. But I’ve also heard that Zionsville is a wonderful place to live. It has a small-town feel with a charming downtown, and it’s known for being one of the best places to live in the U.S. The property prices are high, but the quality of life is exceptional.”

Aria nodded. “Zionsville is indeed a gem. It has safe streets, excellent schools, and a friendly atmosphere. And if you love dining out or shopping, you don’t have to drive into Indianapolis because Zionsville’s village-style downtown has plenty of options.”

Another member, James, interjected. “But if we’re talking about college towns, we can’t forget Terre Haute. It’s home to multiple colleges and universities. While it struggled with urban decay in the past, it has seen a revival in recent years. The downtown area now has art galleries, theaters, and a thriving festival scene. Plus, it’s known as ‘Tree City USA’ because of all its parks and green spaces.”

Aria smiled. “That’s right, James. Terre Haute has a great balance between academia and culture. And speaking of college towns, let’s not forget Lafayette. It’s home to Purdue University, and the presence of the university brings a vibrant energy to the city. Lafayette has a historic downtown with museums and theaters, and students bring a lot of life to the area. Families also appreciate the affordable cost of living and excellent schools.”

Mrs. Patterson, a retired teacher, shared her thoughts. “I’ve visited Lafayette several times. The Purdue University campus is beautiful. I’ve always loved how young people bring innovation and excitement to the city. And the restaurants there are fantastic!”

The discussion continued with members highlighting other great places in Indiana, including Carmel, Indianapolis, Evansville, and the scenic Indiana Dunes National Park. The congregation agreed that Indiana, often overlooked, has many wonderful communities with rich culture, excellent schools, and a high quality of life.

As the discussion wrapped up, Aria said, “We’ve talked about so many great places, but at the end of the day, what makes a place truly special is the people. Our communities thrive when we care for one another, build strong relationships, and create a welcoming environment. Whether we live in Westfield, Zionsville, Terre Haute, or Lafayette, it is up to us to make our towns great.”

The congregation nodded in agreement, feeling a renewed sense of appreciation for their town and the many wonderful places across Indiana. They left the church hall that day, inspired to contribute to their communities and to continue exploring the beauty of their state.
