A Night of Miracles in Moscow, Idaho

Moscow, Idaho, a picturesque college town known for its rolling Palouse Hills and vibrant arts scene, was about to witness an extraordinary evening. Nestled between the University of Idaho and Pullman, Washington, the town was alive with its usual hum of student activities, cozy cafés, and lively cultural events. But on this particular evening, all attention was drawn to a small gathering at a historic church in Downtown Moscow, where a woman named Charlotte was about to lead a healing meeting unlike any the town had seen before.

As the sun set over Moscow, the faithful gathered inside the old church. The air was thick with anticipation as Charlotte, a woman of unwavering faith, stepped onto the platform. The attendees, some from as far as Lewiston and Coeur d’Alene, filled the pews, eager to witness what God would do that night.

Charlotte’s voice rang out, full of conviction. “Tonight, we claim healing in Jesus’ Name! Whatever affliction you carry, let it be lifted tonight!” The crowd murmured in agreement, their faith tangible in the room. Among them was a woman named Margaret, whose spine had been stiffened by years of chronic pain. She had come seeking a miracle.

Charlotte pointed to Margaret and called her forward. The woman hesitated for a moment before making her way down the aisle. The wooden floor creaked beneath her slow, careful steps. Charlotte met her at the altar, placing a hand on her back. “Satan, I told you to leave this body! Out you go in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ!” she commanded.

A hushed silence filled the room as Margaret, trembling, was instructed to bend down and touch her toes. A gasp echoed through the hall as she found herself suddenly free of pain. The stiffness that had plagued her for years was gone. She bent again, then again, the joy on her face evident to all.

Tears streamed down the faces of onlookers. The miracle had set the tone for the night. Charlotte turned to the congregation. “Do you see? When we stand in faith, the power of God moves! We must believe in our authority and exercise it with boldness.”

Chapter 2: The Authority of Faith

As the night continued, more came forward for healing. A young man suffering from severe migraines testified that, after prayer, the pain vanished. An elderly gentleman who had suffered hearing loss in one ear suddenly found his hearing restored. The crowd erupted in praise.

Charlotte reminded them of the Great Commission in Mark 16. “These signs shall follow them that believe! This is not just for the twelve disciples, nor just for the seventy, nor just for the Book of Acts. This promise is for us, right here in Moscow, Idaho!” The congregation cheered, affirming their belief.

She led them in a declaration: “I have power in Jesus’ Name! Sickness and affliction have no place in me!” Voices rose in unison, filling the old church with a resounding faith that echoed beyond its walls.

Charlotte continued, “When you walk through the farmers market on Main Street, when you sip coffee at Bucer’s, when you watch the Vandals play at the Kibbie Dome—remember, you carry the power of God with you! It is not limited to these four walls. It goes with you wherever you go.”

As the meeting drew to a close, Charlotte laid hands on the sick, and one by one, they claimed their healing. The joy in the room was undeniable. Those who had once walked in with burdens now danced with freedom. The people of Moscow had witnessed a night of miracles, a testament to the living power of faith.

As the crowd dispersed into the crisp Idaho night, their voices carried the excitement of what they had just experienced. Charlotte’s message was clear: believe, exercise faith, and walk in divine authority. Moscow, known for its arts and culture, had now become a beacon of faith and miracles.

The historic church’s doors remained open late into the night, as people lingered, sharing testimonies and rejoicing in what God had done. That night, Moscow became more than a college town—it became a place of transformation, where the miraculous met the everyday, and faith turned impossibilities into realities.

Lewiston Community Church Newsletter

Written by Emma

Greetings, Beloved Church Family!

It is with great joy that we bring you this month’s edition of the Lewiston Community Church Newsletter. As we embrace the blessings of our beautiful town and the work that God is doing in our community, we also take time to reflect on how our faith connects us to one another and to the place we call home.

A City with Purpose

Lewiston, a gem in Western Idaho, has been a blessing to many who seek a place of peace, stability, and opportunity. As Idaho’s only seaport, it is a hub of industrial and agricultural activity. The paper and timber industries provide employment for many, while Lewis-Clark State College continues to serve as a beacon of education and vocational training. God has truly placed His hand on our city, allowing it to prosper and offer a livelihood to its residents.

Affordable housing and employment opportunities have made Lewiston an attractive home for many, and we believe that these gifts come with a purpose: to be a light in the community. Whether through our work, our service, or our interactions with our neighbors, we have the chance to reflect Christ’s love daily.

Seasons of Change, Seasons of Growth

Just as the seasons shift in Lewiston—hot summers, crisp autumns, chilly winters, and rejuvenating springs—so too does God bring seasons into our lives. Sometimes we experience a harvest, full of joy and abundance. Other times, we may endure a winter of challenges, but it is in those moments that our faith deepens and our trust in the Lord grows stronger.

Agriculture thrives in Lewiston, from grain fields to vineyards like Clearwater Canyon Cellars and Lindsay Creek Vineyards. In the same way, God is cultivating something within each of us. As Jesus said in John 15:5, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit.” Let us remain steadfast in Him, knowing that He is producing a harvest of righteousness in our lives.

While Lewiston may be small in size, it is rich in heart and spirit. As members of this community, we are called to support and uplift one another. This past month, we have seen God work mightily through our church events, outreach programs, and small group gatherings. Whether it’s through worship, Bible study, or acts of service, our church family continues to grow in love and unity.

If you are looking for ways to get involved, consider joining one of our ministry teams. From serving at the local food pantry to organizing community worship nights, there are plenty of opportunities to be the hands and feet of Christ in Lewiston.

Finding God in Nature

One of the greatest gifts we have in Lewiston is the beauty of God’s creation all around us. Whether you’re taking a peaceful walk through Hells Gate State Park, visiting Locomotive Park, or exploring the Nez Perce County Historical Society, you can see the fingerprints of our Creator in every tree, river, and mountain.

Psalm 19:1 reminds us, “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” Let us take time to step outside, breathe in the fresh air, and give thanks for the wonder of creation that surrounds us. May our connection to nature deepen our appreciation for God’s power and presence in our lives.

As we move forward into this new season, let us remember that our faith is not just something we practice on Sundays—it is the foundation of our lives. Whether we are at work, at school, or in our homes, let us shine the light of Christ in all that we do.

We encourage each of you to take a moment to pray for our city, our leaders, and our neighbors. Let us ask God to guide us in His wisdom, to bless the work of our hands, and to bring revival to our community.

As we close this newsletter, let us hold onto the promise of Isaiah 41:10: “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

May God bless you abundantly, and may we continue to walk in faith together.

In Christ’s love,

Emma

Sermon Topic: A New Season for Meridian

Speaker: Olivia

Introduction: Welcome, church! Today, I bring you a message of divine recompense, healing, and restoration. Just as Meridian has transformed from a quiet farming town into a thriving city, God is also bringing a transformation to our lives. He is calling His people into a season of sudden positioning, where His power will be revealed in ways we have never seen before.

The Lord has decreed: “NOW in the ROAR of My RECOMPENSE and the SUDDEN positioning of My people, the enemy will TREMBLE in fear at how I will move FOR My people and THROUGH My people.”

We are standing on the edge of an outpouring of God’s Spirit like never before. The same way this city has expanded and grown, God is stretching out the tent pegs of your life. He is making changes, shifting things, and reshaping you to carry more of His glory and purpose!

Many people in Meridian have come from different places, seeking opportunity and a fresh start. In the same way, God is calling His people into a divine reset—a place of healing and renewal.

The Bible tells us in Isaiah 53:5, “By His stripes, we are healed.” Healing is not just for some; it is the unchanging will of God for all of His people. When Jesus walked the earth, He healed multitudes, and He is still healing today. His eternal names—Jehovah Rapha, our Healer—remind us that restoration is at the heart of redemption.

Too often, we believe the lie that following God means stepping into suffering. Some say, “If you truly obey God, you’ll be attacked—your finances, your health, your relationships will suffer.” But church, that is not the truth! We are not cursed for obedience; we are blessed for it.

We must break off this false expectation of failure and rise in faith! Jesus bore the full weight of sickness, pain, and sin so that we could walk in complete freedom. He could have spoken one word to stop His suffering, yet He chose to endure for us. Why? Because He saw YOU. He saw your healing, your breakthrough, your restoration.

I see in the Spirit a divine exchange happening in this room right now. The Father is speaking over His children, “I love you, I am so proud of you.” This is the sound of healing—anger is breaking, disappointment is lifting, and freedom is resounding. Chains are falling off today!

The Lord says, “The death came and NOW COMES THE NEW! You walked through the dying process, NOW I bring you back to the drawing board to BUILD THE NEW with Me.”

This city has undergone rapid growth, and sometimes that can bring discomfort. Change can be unsettling. Maybe you’ve felt out of place, lost in transition, unsure of where you fit. But let me assure you, you are not lost! God is positioning you in His divine purpose, and this is your season to thrive.

We are in a time where fire will fall upon tongues—a commissioning for those who will declare the Word of the Lord. Many have lost their voice, but this is the era of restoration. Voices are being raised, callings are being revived, and assignments are being released!

The King of Glory is coming, church! The weight of His glory will be unprecedented. The Lord is raising up His daughters and sons with a new roar—unstoppable in Him! Where the enemy has tried to shake you, God is making you immovable. He says, “No longer will you be held back, but you are being empowered and strengthened as UNSTOPPABLE!”

Do you know what this means? It means that what has been lost is being restored. Your strength, your fire, your passion—it’s coming back! The areas where you have struggled the most will become the deepest wells of life and revival. The barren places are turning into places of overflowing abundance.

Church, I prophesy over you today: YOU WILL RUN AGAIN! Where the enemy thought he had won, God is turning it all for good. The battles you have faced have not been in vain. The tides are turning, and the Spirit of God is moving mightily.

The Lord says, “I have seen your tears. I know the battle has been long and hard. But I am reviving you, rejuvenating you, and bringing you into a season where the weight you have carried will lift. You will step into My strength, and you will see My glory like never before.”

Closing Prayer and Call to Action

Today, I invite you to step into this word. Meridian is growing, and so are we. God is doing something new, and He is inviting YOU to be a part of it.

If you need healing, receive it now. If you need restoration, it is here. If you need a fresh fire, lift your hands and cry out to Him. The King of Glory is coming!

Father, in Jesus’ name, I thank You for Your people. I thank You for this city and for the move of Your Spirit upon us. Lord, let Your healing flow. Let Your fire fall. Let Your restoration be made complete in the lives of those who receive this word today. We declare that this is a season of recompense, revival, and restoration. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!

Church, get ready. The best is yet to come!
