Church conference in Nampa

The city of Nampa, Idaho, known for its rapid growth and vibrant community, became the host of an unforgettable church conference. Under the leadership of a renowned speaker, Amelia, believers from all around the region gathered to seek spiritual renewal and understanding. The event was held at Northwest Nazarene University, an institution deeply rooted in faith and education. With its beautiful campus and welcoming atmosphere, it was the perfect setting for such an occasion.

The attendees arrived early, their hearts expectant for what God would do among them. Worship music filled the air as people found their seats, the presence of the Holy Spirit already tangible in the room. Amelia took the stage, her presence commanding yet humble. She greeted the congregation with warmth and immediately set the tone for the conference: “We are here to seek God’s truth, to be empowered by His Spirit, and to go forth with renewed purpose.”

She began with a powerful reminder of the eternal kingdom, emphasizing, “All the glorious bliss of that eternal kingdom! Rebellion will be put out once and for all from God’s universe. God will again reign as sovereign Lord. One God, one authority, one rule, one government of light and life will again rule the entire universe.” The room was filled with anticipation as Amelia painted a picture of a restored world where there would be no tears, no crying, no death, no sorrow, no pain.

As the conference continued, Amelia led the attendees through the scriptures, drawing from the book of Revelation. She spoke of the momentous times ahead, quoting Revelation 16:10: “The fifth angel poured out his vial upon the throne of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain.” She emphasized the importance of remaining steadfast in faith, assuring the audience that even in the face of tribulation, God’s power would sustain them.

Then she turned to the book of Acts, reminding everyone of Jesus’ instruction to His disciples. “Then Jesus told His disciples that they were to wait in Jerusalem until they received the promise of the Father which He had been talking to them about. ‘For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.’” (Acts 1:5) The message was clear: the church needed to be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit to accomplish the work of God.

As the session ended, the worship team took the stage once again, leading the congregation in songs of praise. Many found themselves in deep reflection, their spirits stirred by Amelia’s teachings. Some knelt in prayer, seeking a fresh touch from God. Others formed small prayer groups, encouraging one another with words of faith.

The second day of the conference dawned with a renewed sense of expectation. The sun rose over the city of Nampa, casting a golden glow over Lake Lowell and the Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge. As attendees made their way back to the conference venue, conversations buzzed about the previous night’s powerful message.

Amelia opened the session with a story from the early church, recalling how fellowships had spread beyond California over the years. She recounted how passionate believers, much like those in attendance, had started churches across the country, stepping out in faith to follow God’s call. “Almost without exception, these pioneers spent time in deep fellowship with the Lord before stepping into their calling,” she explained. “And at the right time, each would feel the nudge from God and move out.”

The message resonated deeply with many in the room. Some had been feeling called to ministry but were hesitant to take the next step. Amelia’s words were a confirmation, an encouragement to trust in God’s timing and provision.

She then addressed a crucial aspect of spiritual life: humility and servanthood. Quoting from 1 Peter, she exhorted, “The elders which are among you, I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed.” She reminded everyone that leadership in the church was not about power or position, but about serving others with a humble heart.

As the morning session concluded, attendees were invited to spend time in prayer. The sanctuary was filled with the sound of whispered prayers and heartfelt cries to the Lord. Some prayed for revival in their cities, others for personal renewal. The power of God was evident as people wept, lifted their hands in worship, and surrendered their burdens at the altar.

In the afternoon session, Amelia took on an even more prophetic tone, warning against the schemes of the enemy. She quoted 1 Peter 5:8, saying, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” She urged believers to remain steadfast in their faith, resisting temptation and standing firm against the attacks of the enemy.

The conference concluded with a final worship service, where Amelia issued a final charge to the attendees: “The church is singing before the throne of God in victory. Before the Great Tribulation ever starts, we are with Christ in glory. Our task now is to bring as many souls with us as possible.”

As the conference came to a close, people lingered, reluctant to leave. Many had experienced a personal encounter with God, their hearts ignited with fresh passion for His kingdom. Conversations continued late into the evening as attendees discussed ways to take what they had learned back to their churches and communities.

The city of Nampa had hosted many events before—festivals, university gatherings, and recreational activities—but this conference would be remembered as a time of spiritual awakening. As attendees returned to their homes, they carried with them a renewed sense of purpose, ready to spread the message of Christ to a world in need.

And so, the seeds sown at this conference would continue to bear fruit, long after the last prayer was spoken and the last song was sung. The impact of Amelia’s words, the presence of the Holy Spirit, and the unity of the believers would ripple through Nampa and beyond, bringing transformation to lives, churches, and communities for years to come.

A Night of Miracles in Moscow, Idaho

Moscow, Idaho, a picturesque college town known for its rolling Palouse Hills and vibrant arts scene, was about to witness an extraordinary evening. Nestled between the University of Idaho and Pullman, Washington, the town was alive with its usual hum of student activities, cozy cafés, and lively cultural events. But on this particular evening, all attention was drawn to a small gathering at a historic church in Downtown Moscow, where a woman named Charlotte was about to lead a healing meeting unlike any the town had seen before.

As the sun set over Moscow, the faithful gathered inside the old church. The air was thick with anticipation as Charlotte, a woman of unwavering faith, stepped onto the platform. The attendees, some from as far as Lewiston and Coeur d’Alene, filled the pews, eager to witness what God would do that night.

Charlotte’s voice rang out, full of conviction. “Tonight, we claim healing in Jesus’ Name! Whatever affliction you carry, let it be lifted tonight!” The crowd murmured in agreement, their faith tangible in the room. Among them was a woman named Margaret, whose spine had been stiffened by years of chronic pain. She had come seeking a miracle.

Charlotte pointed to Margaret and called her forward. The woman hesitated for a moment before making her way down the aisle. The wooden floor creaked beneath her slow, careful steps. Charlotte met her at the altar, placing a hand on her back. “Satan, I told you to leave this body! Out you go in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ!” she commanded.

A hushed silence filled the room as Margaret, trembling, was instructed to bend down and touch her toes. A gasp echoed through the hall as she found herself suddenly free of pain. The stiffness that had plagued her for years was gone. She bent again, then again, the joy on her face evident to all.

Tears streamed down the faces of onlookers. The miracle had set the tone for the night. Charlotte turned to the congregation. “Do you see? When we stand in faith, the power of God moves! We must believe in our authority and exercise it with boldness.”

Chapter 2: The Authority of Faith

As the night continued, more came forward for healing. A young man suffering from severe migraines testified that, after prayer, the pain vanished. An elderly gentleman who had suffered hearing loss in one ear suddenly found his hearing restored. The crowd erupted in praise.

Charlotte reminded them of the Great Commission in Mark 16. “These signs shall follow them that believe! This is not just for the twelve disciples, nor just for the seventy, nor just for the Book of Acts. This promise is for us, right here in Moscow, Idaho!” The congregation cheered, affirming their belief.

She led them in a declaration: “I have power in Jesus’ Name! Sickness and affliction have no place in me!” Voices rose in unison, filling the old church with a resounding faith that echoed beyond its walls.

Charlotte continued, “When you walk through the farmers market on Main Street, when you sip coffee at Bucer’s, when you watch the Vandals play at the Kibbie Dome—remember, you carry the power of God with you! It is not limited to these four walls. It goes with you wherever you go.”

As the meeting drew to a close, Charlotte laid hands on the sick, and one by one, they claimed their healing. The joy in the room was undeniable. Those who had once walked in with burdens now danced with freedom. The people of Moscow had witnessed a night of miracles, a testament to the living power of faith.

As the crowd dispersed into the crisp Idaho night, their voices carried the excitement of what they had just experienced. Charlotte’s message was clear: believe, exercise faith, and walk in divine authority. Moscow, known for its arts and culture, had now become a beacon of faith and miracles.

The historic church’s doors remained open late into the night, as people lingered, sharing testimonies and rejoicing in what God had done. That night, Moscow became more than a college town—it became a place of transformation, where the miraculous met the everyday, and faith turned impossibilities into realities.

Lewiston Community Church Newsletter

Written by Emma

Greetings, Beloved Church Family!

It is with great joy that we bring you this month’s edition of the Lewiston Community Church Newsletter. As we embrace the blessings of our beautiful town and the work that God is doing in our community, we also take time to reflect on how our faith connects us to one another and to the place we call home.

A City with Purpose

Lewiston, a gem in Western Idaho, has been a blessing to many who seek a place of peace, stability, and opportunity. As Idaho’s only seaport, it is a hub of industrial and agricultural activity. The paper and timber industries provide employment for many, while Lewis-Clark State College continues to serve as a beacon of education and vocational training. God has truly placed His hand on our city, allowing it to prosper and offer a livelihood to its residents.

Affordable housing and employment opportunities have made Lewiston an attractive home for many, and we believe that these gifts come with a purpose: to be a light in the community. Whether through our work, our service, or our interactions with our neighbors, we have the chance to reflect Christ’s love daily.

Seasons of Change, Seasons of Growth

Just as the seasons shift in Lewiston—hot summers, crisp autumns, chilly winters, and rejuvenating springs—so too does God bring seasons into our lives. Sometimes we experience a harvest, full of joy and abundance. Other times, we may endure a winter of challenges, but it is in those moments that our faith deepens and our trust in the Lord grows stronger.

Agriculture thrives in Lewiston, from grain fields to vineyards like Clearwater Canyon Cellars and Lindsay Creek Vineyards. In the same way, God is cultivating something within each of us. As Jesus said in John 15:5, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit.” Let us remain steadfast in Him, knowing that He is producing a harvest of righteousness in our lives.

While Lewiston may be small in size, it is rich in heart and spirit. As members of this community, we are called to support and uplift one another. This past month, we have seen God work mightily through our church events, outreach programs, and small group gatherings. Whether it’s through worship, Bible study, or acts of service, our church family continues to grow in love and unity.

If you are looking for ways to get involved, consider joining one of our ministry teams. From serving at the local food pantry to organizing community worship nights, there are plenty of opportunities to be the hands and feet of Christ in Lewiston.

Finding God in Nature

One of the greatest gifts we have in Lewiston is the beauty of God’s creation all around us. Whether you’re taking a peaceful walk through Hells Gate State Park, visiting Locomotive Park, or exploring the Nez Perce County Historical Society, you can see the fingerprints of our Creator in every tree, river, and mountain.

Psalm 19:1 reminds us, “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” Let us take time to step outside, breathe in the fresh air, and give thanks for the wonder of creation that surrounds us. May our connection to nature deepen our appreciation for God’s power and presence in our lives.

As we move forward into this new season, let us remember that our faith is not just something we practice on Sundays—it is the foundation of our lives. Whether we are at work, at school, or in our homes, let us shine the light of Christ in all that we do.

We encourage each of you to take a moment to pray for our city, our leaders, and our neighbors. Let us ask God to guide us in His wisdom, to bless the work of our hands, and to bring revival to our community.

As we close this newsletter, let us hold onto the promise of Isaiah 41:10: “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

May God bless you abundantly, and may we continue to walk in faith together.

In Christ’s love,

Emma
