Evangelist Meeting in St. Augustine

The gentle breeze of a late summer evening blew through the historic streets of St. Augustine as the faithful gathered for a special evangelistic meeting led by Eliza. The city, known as the oldest continuously inhabited European settlement in North America, had been a witness to centuries of history, and tonight, it would bear witness to a different kind of history—the transformation of lives through the power of the gospel.

The town, with its quaint, cobbled streets and charming old-world charm, had long been a place of spiritual reflection. From the towering Castillo de San Marcos to the ancient Spanish colonial homes, every corner of St. Augustine seemed to whisper the stories of the past. But Eliza was focused on a different kind of history—one that was unfolding right in front of her eyes. The people who gathered were eager to hear of the hope and redemption available in Jesus Christ, something far more lasting than the ancient walls surrounding them.

As Eliza took the stage, her voice calm and strong, she welcomed everyone to the meeting with warmth and grace. The attendees, many of whom were long-time residents, others merely visitors who had come for a taste of the city’s historic allure, were now about to experience a living testimony of faith, as powerful as the history preserved in the town’s heritage buildings.

“St. Augustine,” Eliza began, her eyes scanning the crowd, “is a city rich in history. With every stone of these streets, we touch the past, but tonight, I want to talk about a different kind of history—one that changes the course of our lives, one that offers us a future filled with purpose and promise.”

Her words seemed to resonate with the crowd. They were in a place steeped in centuries of stories, but Eliza reminded them that there was a story much greater than any historic tale they could read in a museum—there was the story of redemption, the story of Christ.

She spoke of the town’s historical significance, recounting its origins as a Spanish settlement in the 16th century, its evolution, and the centuries of influence it had seen, particularly in shaping the cultural fabric of Florida. But Eliza emphasized that despite the allure of the past, what mattered most was the hope found in the present—hope that transcended history.

“Though St. Augustine may be a living museum, your life does not have to be a relic of the past,” Eliza declared. “Just as the historic buildings here in the city are preserved and celebrated, your life, too, can be preserved and renewed through Christ. The history of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for us is the only history that matters, the only one that has the power to change our lives for eternity.”

The audience, many unfamiliar with the message of Christ, sat captivated by Eliza’s passion and clarity. As she continued, Eliza pointed out that just as St. Augustine was a unique and beautiful blend of cultures and traditions, so too was the gospel—something that reached into every culture, every heart, no matter their past.

As the evening sun began to set, Eliza spoke about the message of salvation, pointing out that, like the great forts that had once guarded the town from invaders, Christ was a fortress in the lives of believers. “His salvation,” Eliza explained, “is our shield, protecting us from the enemy and offering us an eternal inheritance.”

The setting was particularly poignant as the sun sank behind the historic skyline of St. Augustine, its golden rays casting a glow over the crowd. Eliza spoke of God’s promise to bring light into the darkness, something that this charming town, with its ancient shadows, could understand deeply.

She also spoke of the Pirate & Treasure Museum located not far from the event, noting that it was a popular spot for those seeking to uncover hidden treasures of the past. “But I tell you,” she proclaimed, “there is a treasure far greater than anything you can find in a museum, far greater than anything the world has to offer. It is the treasure of knowing Jesus Christ as your Savior, and it is available to all who call upon His name.”

Eliza’s message continued to stir hearts as she shared the story of Jesus, emphasizing His death on the cross and His resurrection, the ultimate victory over sin and death. She spoke of the transformative power of the gospel and how it had changed countless lives, urging the listeners to allow God to transform their own lives in a similar way.

“I know,” Eliza said with conviction, “that some of you may feel weighed down by the burdens of your past, perhaps by regrets or mistakes, but I want to remind you tonight that in Christ, there is forgiveness. In Him, you are made new.”

As Eliza spoke, many in the audience nodded in agreement, their hearts stirred by her words. St. Augustine, with its rich history of battles, conquest, and resilience, seemed the perfect backdrop for the message of Christ—a message that, much like the city itself, would endure through the ages.

She invited those present to respond to the gospel, offering prayer for anyone who desired to receive Jesus Christ into their hearts. Eliza’s voice softened as she led the group in prayer, offering words of hope and encouragement to those who had made the decision to follow Christ.

“Tonight, you stand at the crossroads of history,” Eliza said, her voice gentle yet firm. “Just as St. Augustine has witnessed so many pivotal moments in time, your life, too, can be changed forever by the power of the gospel.”

As the prayer ended, Eliza invited the new believers to take a step of faith, urging them to connect with a local church where they could grow in their newfound faith. There was a sense of awe in the air, as the crowd seemed to grasp the weight of the moment. The evangelistic meeting had not only touched the hearts of many but had planted seeds of faith that would undoubtedly grow and bear fruit in the years to come.

As the night wore on, the people of St. Augustine—residents and visitors alike—walked away with a renewed sense of purpose and hope, carrying with them the treasure of Christ’s love, a treasure far more precious than the relics of history they had once admired. In the heart of this historic city, a new chapter had begun for many, and the legacy of faith was now being written into the story of their lives.

Gilbert’s Heritage in Arizona

Sermon: Embracing the Power of God’s Guidance in Our Lives

Good morning, Church! It is such an honor to be with you today as we come together to worship and grow in our faith. I believe today’s message is one that will inspire each of us to look deeper into the guidance God offers us in every moment of our lives. Just like Gilbert, Arizona, where we find a unique blend of the old and new, God’s guidance is a harmonious balance that leads us toward a place of peace, strength, and divine purpose.

Gilbert is a city that has experienced tremendous growth over the years. It’s now the eighth city on our list of the best places to live in Arizona. People are drawn to its vibrant downtown area, known as the Heritage District. It’s the heart of the city, filled with lively restaurants, bars, and local shops. Culinary Dropout, Liberty Market, and Snooze are just a few of the gems that bring this district to life. You can feel the energy of the city as it pulses through the streets.

Yet, much like the growth and vitality we see in Gilbert, we, too, are on a journey of growth. We may be surrounded by challenges and changes, but through God’s guidance, we can navigate this world with a purpose and confidence that can only come from Him.

The Challenges of Growth: A Call to Trust

It’s no secret that Gilbert has become more expensive over time. Home prices have nearly doubled since January 2020. And just like those rising prices, the challenges in our own lives can seem to increase. The daily grind, financial pressures, or perhaps strained relationships—these are the “costs” of living that many of us can relate to. Yet, just like those who call Gilbert home, we must remember that we are not in this alone.

Gilbert’s neighborhoods, like those of many cities in the Phoenix metro area, are built on a grid system. These well-planned streets reflect a sense of order and purpose. Similarly, God’s plan for us is not haphazard. It is intentional, and His guidance is meant to help us navigate the complexities of life with grace and strength.

You may feel like you’re on an isolated path, but I want to encourage you today that God is with you. Just as neighborhoods in Gilbert are connected, we, too, are interconnected with God’s divine plan. He leads us in ways that we may not always understand at the time, but when we trust in Him, His ways become clearer. He will provide the direction we need to walk through this life.

The Heart of the Matter: The True Source of Strength

We can take a lesson from Gilbert’s Heritage District. It’s the heart of the city—a place where life and community come together. Just like that heart, God is the heart of our lives. He is the source of all our strength, our peace, and our provision. He desires to lead us with purpose, even when it feels like the road ahead is uncertain.

In times of challenge, when it seems like the world is moving faster than we can keep up, we must remember that God has a plan for us. Even in seasons when life may feel like a constant hustle, we can trust that He is guiding us, step by step.

The Psalmist reminds us in Psalm 23:1, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” Just as the shepherd provides for his sheep, God provides for us. He guides us to green pastures and still waters, places of rest and nourishment for our souls. God does not want us to be consumed by the worries of this world. He wants us to walk in the peace and provision that only He can offer.

Trusting the Process: The Journey of Faith

As we look at Gilbert, we see a city that has grown and evolved over time. Its parks, such as Freestone District Park and the Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch, offer spaces for rest and reflection, providing the community with places to recharge. Similarly, God leads us to places of spiritual rest. In those moments, we may not always see the bigger picture, but we must trust in His process.

The journey of faith is much like the process of growth we see in Gilbert. The landscape changes, homes are built, and new spaces are created. Likewise, our lives are shaped through the moments we walk with God. Each step builds upon the last, and before we know it, we find ourselves in a place of spiritual abundance.

God does not promise us a life without struggles, but He does promise to be with us through them. Isaiah 41:10 says, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” The challenges you face may feel overwhelming, but know that He is holding you up, strengthening you, and guiding you through each and every moment.

Moving Forward with Confidence: Our Future in God’s Hands

As we look at the city of Gilbert, we see growth, challenges, and a future full of possibilities. The same is true for our lives. Just as Gilbert’s community continues to evolve, so does our spiritual journey. God is preparing us for greater things, just as He has prepared this city for a bright future.

The question today is: Are we ready to trust Him? Are we ready to step forward with confidence, knowing that He has equipped us for whatever lies ahead?

Remember, we are not meant to live in fear or uncertainty. Just as Gilbert’s streets are laid out in a way that guides its residents, God’s Word and His presence will guide us through every season of life.

Today, I encourage you to embrace God’s guidance. Trust that He has a plan for you, and that His ways are higher than ours. Just as Gilbert has grown and thrived, you too can thrive in the path that God has set before you. Trust Him, step forward in faith, and allow His guidance to lead you into a future filled with hope and purpose.

God bless you all!

Prophetic Declarations for Wealth: Manifest Your Blessings

From the depths of hardship and the shadows of adversity, the Lord declares a new season of abundant provision and financial breakthrough. Born of diverse heritage and tested by fire, Raul Ries’s journey reminds us that no struggle is without purpose and no pain is without redemption. From his challenging beginnings, God has forged a testimony of triumph, showing that His blessings are not bound by our circumstances but are instead activated by faith and obedience.

Today, I decree and declare that money is coming into your life. Just as the Spirit of God enables us to express gratitude in ways beyond our intellect, He also opens the floodgates of heaven to pour out blessings that cannot be measured by human understanding. As Paul reminds us, when we give thanks in the Spirit, we align ourselves with divine abundance, calling forth resources from the heavenly storehouses. This is your portion—wealth, provision, and divine favor—flowing into every area of your life.

Breakthrough Beyond Barriers

The hardships of life often position us for a greater revelation of God’s power. Just as Raul’s upbringing in chaos seemed to forecast a life of despair, God revealed His ability to transform any situation. Likewise, the barriers in your life—whether financial lack, generational struggles, or unforeseen obstacles—are not final. They are the proving grounds for divine provision.

Even as Steve’s story highlighted how one’s choices set them apart, so too do your decisions to trust God. The Word declares that the steps of a righteous person are ordered by the Lord. In this ordering, He makes provision. He ensures that every need is met and every debt is paid. Today, I speak to the financial mountains in your life and declare they shall be moved. Streams of income, unexpected opportunities, and supernatural strategies are being released to you now.

Walking in the Light of Provision

The Bible tells us that Jesus’s ministry was one of teaching and empowerment. Through His words, He revealed the Father’s will to provide abundantly for His children. As we align ourselves with this truth, we step into the light of divine provision. No longer are we children of darkness, stumbling through lack and uncertainty. Instead, we walk as children of light, guided by His Spirit toward opportunities and breakthroughs.

The same Spirit that resurrected Jesus is at work in your finances. Just as He raised Him from the grave, so too will He resurrect dead dreams, closed doors, and empty bank accounts. I declare that new financial streams are opening now. Promotions, business ventures, and investments are being blessed and multiplied. Your hands are anointed for prosperity, and your efforts will yield a bountiful harvest.

Positioned for Overflow

When we submit to God’s order and operate in His divine principles, we position ourselves for overflow. The story of the woman who joyfully served her husband and his friends despite unfavorable circumstances reminds us that our attitude in the face of difficulty determines the magnitude of our blessing. Gratitude and obedience are keys to unlocking heaven’s treasures.

As you remain faithful, even in seasons of waiting or testing, God is orchestrating a supernatural transfer of wealth. He is causing favor to locate you, partnerships to flourish, and every resource you need to manifest. Remember, God delights in mercy. Just as He intervenes for His children, sparing them from punishment, so too does He extend His mercy over your financial situation. Where there was once lack, there shall be abundance. Where there was once despair, there shall be hope.

The Assurance of God’s Word

The Word of God is unchanging and eternal. He promises that He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. This promise is not limited by the economy, your qualifications, or your past mistakes. It is secured by the unshakable foundation of His Word. Even as the earth groans under pollution and corruption, the kingdom of God remains unshaken. It is from this kingdom that your provision flows.

In Revelation, we are reminded of the Lamb who shepherds His people and leads them to fountains of living water. This same Lamb is leading you to financial refreshment and renewal. No longer will you labor under the weight of insufficiency. Instead, you will experience the peace that comes from knowing your heavenly Father has made every provision for you.

A Prophetic Call to Action

As we close, let this declaration be both a prophecy and a call to action. Step into the niche where God has called you. Align your actions with His Word. Sow seeds of faith, whether through giving, serving, or speaking life over your situation. Speak in tongues, praise Him for His goodness, and trust that He is working all things together for your good.

I decree that this is your season of financial breakthrough. The chains of lack are broken, and the windows of heaven are open. Money is coming to you now, not by chance but by divine appointment. Expect to receive, for God’s Word does not return void. Your testimony of provision and abundance will inspire others and bring glory to His name. In Jesus’s name, it is done. Amen.
