The strong spirit of a person stops sickness

Julie stood before the church group, her eyes calm but focused. She had been invited to speak about her journey as a healing evangelist. The room was quiet, expectant, and she began with simple words.

“I didn’t always know what God’s will was for my life,” she started. “I wasn’t born into this. Like many of you, I had questions. But I learned that God’s will is for all to be healed. That’s something I’ve seen firsthand.”

The group leaned in, eager for more. Julie smiled gently.

“Reason number two why we are sure it is God’s will for all to be healed today is found in Proverbs 18,” she said. “The strong spirit of a person sustains them in sickness. But a weak spirit? Who can bear it? You see, it’s not just about the body. It’s the spirit that needs strength.”

She looked around the room. “Many people don’t see the value in this. They don’t understand how a weak spirit can open the door to sickness, and how a strong spirit can heal.”

Julie paused. “I remember a lady who came to me. Doctors had diagnosed her as terminal. They said nothing could be done. But when I talked to her, I could tell she wasn’t ready. She didn’t believe healing was possible for her. She wasn’t convinced of God’s will.”

The group listened intently, as Julie continued.

“I invited her to stay for our healing service. She hesitated at first. She had plans to go shopping. Can you imagine? On the brink of death, and yet distracted by the things of this world. But that’s how many of us live. We don’t see the urgency.”

Julie’s voice softened. “But she stayed. And that was the beginning of her healing.”

Chapter 2: Faith Comes by Hearing

Julie stood still for a moment, letting her words sink in.

“You see, faith comes by hearing,” she said. “Romans 10:17 tells us that. And this lady needed faith. She needed the Word of God to strengthen her spirit, to prepare her for the healing she was about to receive.”

A man at the back of the room raised his hand. Julie nodded, inviting his question.

“What if we’re not ready to receive healing? What if we’re too weak?”

Julie smiled warmly. “That’s exactly the point. We get ready by filling ourselves with the Word. When your spirit is strong, your body follows.”

She glanced toward the door and called out, “I want to introduce someone to you.”

A woman walked into the room, her face glowing with health. Julie gestured for her to come up to the stage.

“This is Sarah,” Julie said. “She was healed recently. She’s here to share her story with you.”

Sarah stood beside Julie, smiling shyly.

Chapter 3: Sarah’s Testimony

Sarah took a deep breath. “I was in a bad place,” she began. “Doctors said I had little time left. My family thought it was over. And honestly, I had given up too. All I did was lie in bed, watch TV, and wait for the end.”

The room was silent. Julie nodded, encouraging her to continue.

“But then, I came to one of Julie’s services,” Sarah said. “I didn’t really believe anything could change. I was weak—spiritually and physically. But something she said struck me. She talked about how a strong spirit could sustain a person through sickness.”

Sarah paused, gathering her thoughts.

“I wasn’t strong. My spirit was as weak as my body. But I stayed. I listened to the Word. Day by day, something shifted. I started to believe that God’s will for me was healing.”

Julie spoke up, addressing the group again. “This is what we need to understand. Many of us are like Sarah was. We think we’re too weak, but we don’t realize that God’s Word has the power to strengthen us. It’s like building muscle. It takes time, but the more you fill yourself with truth, the stronger you become.”

Chapter 4: The Strong Spirit

Julie turned back to the congregation. “Many people think they’re fine. They go to church once a month, maybe read their Bible occasionally, and believe that’s enough. But they’re spiritually weak, and they don’t even know it.”

She sighed softly, her tone growing more serious. “Right now, your body is fighting off countless germs, bacteria, and viruses. The only reason you’re not sick is because your immune system is strong enough to handle it. The same is true spiritually. If your spirit is weak, sickness can overtake you.”

She glanced at Sarah. “Sarah learned this the hard way. But she grew stronger by feeding on the Word. Her spirit became strong, and as it did, her body began to heal.”

Sarah nodded in agreement. “It wasn’t easy. I had to let go of my doubts. I had to believe that healing was for me, not just for others.”

Julie faced the congregation. “This is the will of God for all of us. He wants us to be strong, to overcome, to be healed. But it starts with your spirit. A strong spirit sustains you through any trial.”

Chapter 5: Living in Victory

Julie raised her voice slightly, her passion clear. “You can live in victory. You don’t have to accept sickness, pain, or weakness. But you need to build your spirit. The enemy is waiting for you to get weak, but if you stay strong in the Word, he doesn’t stand a chance.”

The church was silent, absorbing her words.

“Don’t be like the millions of Christians who are spiritually weak because they neglect the Word. Every day, read your Bible. Pray. Praise. Worship. Make your spirit strong, and you will overcome whatever comes your way.”

Julie smiled as she looked over the group. “Sarah is living proof of that. She’s healed because she built her spirit, and that’s what I want for each of you.”

She turned to Sarah. “Would you pray with me for anyone here who needs healing?”

Together, Julie and Sarah led the group in prayer, their faith strong and unshakable. As the prayer ended, Julie knew that seeds had been planted—seeds of strength, healing, and faith.

Winding Path of Faith

The Blood of Redemption and the Power of Belief

My name is Tony, I am not just a writer, but a fellow traveller on this winding path of faith. We are united by the invisible thread of belief, drawn together by the promise of something greater than ourselves.

At the heart of our journey lies the lifeblood of our faith – the blood of Jesus. It is a potent symbol, a crimson testament to the ultimate sacrifice, the offering that bridged the chasm between us and the divine. In its flow, we find not just forgiveness, but the very wellspring of life itself.

But God’s blessings are not limited to grand gestures. They whisper in the quiet moments, bloom in the unexpected corners of our lives. Remember the woman Jesus encountered, her life transformed by a seemingly ordinary encounter? The gift of the Holy Spirit, once reserved for select few, flowed freely, a testament to the boundless love of our Father.

Like the star that heralded Jesus’ birth, guiding magi from distant lands, our faith can be a beacon, drawing others to the light. When we remember our own conversion, the day we found ourselves in the right place at the right time, how can we not share that story, that whispered invitation to step into the grace of God?

Yet, amidst the whispers of promise, doubt can creep in. We hear statistics, see empty pews, and wonder if our faith is fading, a flickering candle in a gathering storm. But let us not forget the mustard seed, small and unassuming, yet destined to grow into a towering tree. Our faith, though seemingly insignificant, holds within it the potential for infinite power.

For what matters is not the outward show, the eloquent sermons or perfectly polished prayers. It is the fire that burns within, the unshakeable belief that even in the darkest hour, God will not forsake us. Remember Elisha, adding a touch of his own faith to the widow’s small offering, transforming it into a wellspring of abundance. We are not passive vessels, but co-creators in this divine dance.

And speaking of abundance, the blessing of God does not reside solely in material wealth. True prosperity lies in the richness of our souls, the peace that washes over us when we surrender to His will. Money may ebb and flow, but the wellspring of joy within us remains, an untouchable treasure safeguarded by our faith.

Forgiveness, too, is a key that unlocks untold blessings. We hold onto grudges, bitterness gnawing at our hearts, unaware of the chains we forge for ourselves. To forgive is not to condone, but to release ourselves from the prison of resentment. Let the blood of Jesus cleanse your soul, wash away the hurt, and allow the healing balm of His grace to mend the broken pieces.

And now, a word about the Holy Spirit. It is not a fleeting feeling, a momentary flicker. It is a firestorm, transforming us from within, shaping us into instruments of His will. Don’t be afraid to feel His touch, to surrender to His influence. It is in that surrender that we find our true purpose, our unique song in the grand symphony of faith.

Some of us wait, yearning for answers that seem to elude us. But remember, God’s timing is not ours. The seed may lie dormant, but its roots are growing in the darkness. Trust in His plan, for He sees the bigger picture, the tapestry woven with threads of joy and sorrow, triumph and tribulation.

Let us not compare ourselves to others, judging the size of our faith by the yardstick of another’s journey. The mustard seed and the towering oak both sprang from the same ground, nourished by the same sun. We are all unique branches on the same divine vine, each bearing fruit in its own season.

Finally, let us remember that our faith is not a passive possession, but an active verb. By serving our community, by extending a helping hand, by sharing the light within us, we become blessings, radiating the love of God into the world.

And just as Mordecai’s refusal to bow sparked a revolution, so too can our unwavering faith in the power of the blood of Jesus change the world, one heart, one act of kindness at a time. Don’t keep the blessing bottled up within you. Unleash it, share it, and watch as the ripples of your faith spread outward, transforming the world around you.

Today with hearts ablaze and spirits undaunted. Let the blood of Jesus be your shield, the Holy Spirit your guide, and your faith, your unwavering compass. The future may be uncertain, but our path is clear – guided by love, helped by belief, and forever bound by the power of the one who bled for us, redeemed us, and set us free.

May His blessings, received long ago, be renewed in in our lives.

He Could Run Fast

Someone Out There, Believes in You.

I remember a famous person visiting our primary school in the 1960’s.
Herb Elliot won Gold in the 1500m event at the 1960 Rome Olympics.
From 1957 to 1961, Elliot never lost a 1500m or one-mile race.
This man took all the school kids to the oval and gave us tips on how to run.
I don’t remember anyone else who visited our school from that era.
He made an impression because he was famous.
And he was famous because he could run fast.
If we surround ourselves with motivated people the energy in the room energises us.
We can get drawn back into our gift.
Back into a state of believing and therefore achieving.
Even doing a little better in a small thing can influence us into taking on the bigger challenge.
And though you may be all alone, remember this.

Someone, somewhere out there believes in you.

Dreams are delicate things.
They can be formed in a minute by an unusual experience.
And last a life time.
I am writing this post, because I had a seed thought.
This is a seed thought for sure..!!

I feel challenged to put down my dreams on paper in a clear and concise way.
Here is my dream.

“To see God’s blessing come upon my life.
In a miraculous and obviously supernatural way.
So that outsiders will be able to acknowledge what has taken place.
And for this to continue into the future.”

“I also would like to see this blessing come into the lives of other Christians.
So they can experience God’s obvious touch, in an ongoing way.”

Please God… do not let me miss any opportunities that are coming my way.
Open my eyes to see what I need to see.
To hear what I need to hear.
To understand what I need to understand.
And to meet the people I need to meet.
