Old Missionary Stories

Old Time Missionary Testimony.

“The incredible journey that God has led us on.”
Eighteen years have passed since we embarked on the first trip, carrying the vision that God had placed in our hearts.
Today, I want to share with you the undeniable evidence of God’s faithfulness to that vision.

As we set out on this journey, we were filled with anticipation and excitement, but also with a deep sense of responsibility.
The vision was not just about our own desires, but it was a calling to bring hope, healing, and the message of God’s love to those who needed it the most.
The months each year spent right among the people were not without challenges, but God’s faithfulness shone brightly through it all.

One question that often lingers in our minds is, “Was God faithful to the vision?”
Did He allow the children to suffer in the years that followed?
Today, I stand before you to declare with unwavering confidence that not a single one of our children has died.
God, in His infinite mercy, has protected and blessed them.
The journey, though not without its trials, has been marked by the unmistakable hand of God.

In these eighteen years, we have witnessed miracles of healing, moments of divine intervention, and a level of favour and blessing that we could have never imagined.
Our children have experienced good health, and the community we have built together has been a testament to God’s grace.

I am reminded of the words of a sweet fair-haired little girl who, with innocence and excitement, said, “Oh, won’t it be lovely, father, when the whole map is red?”
The map represents the reach of God’s love and healing through our ministry, and indeed, God has painted it with His grace.

As we reflect on our journey, it’s important to acknowledge the ministries that contributed to the success of the Revival.
Gordon Lindsay, the founding editor of the Voice of Healing, alongside his friends Jack Moore and Anna Jean Moore, played a crucial role.
The Voice of Healing became the catalyst and voice of the movement, spreading the message far and wide.

In conclusion, let us give thanks for God’s unwavering faithfulness. The evidence is clear — our children are thriving, our ministry has grown, and the impact of the Healing Revival has been felt far and wide.
May we continue to walk in faith, trusting that God’s plans are perfect, and His faithfulness endures forever.

Today, as we gather in the presence of our Lord, I am compelled to share a remarkable testimony of faith, provision, and the unwavering goodness of our Heavenly Father.
It is a story that revolves around a man whose life exemplified trust in God’s promises, a man who faced challenges with unshakable faith.

This man, our beloved brother, entered his study one day with an open Bible in his hand.
With conviction in his voice, he pointed to the words that echo through the ages, “My God shall supply all your need.”
It was not a mere recitation, but a challenge to himself and his wife. “Do we really believe this?” he asked.
And with that, they joined in asking God to meet a pressing need for an evangelist.

Only a few months later, the call came for him to meet his Master. Even in his death, he glorified the Lord as he did in his life.
He left behind a legacy, a testament to God’s faithfulness.
His widow and children were comfortably provided for, and a band of Christians stood witness to the opening of “windows of blessing” just as God had promised to the man who dared to “prove” Him.

Another great man’s journey began in the midst of the Welsh Revival on Nov. 20th, 1904, when he and his brother were converted under the evangelistic ministry of Glassnant Jones.
It was the prompting of Stephen’s son, Edward, who received the Spirit and spoke in tongues, that stirred this man’s heart to seek God for a deeper experience.

And soon after, he not only received a personal healing but also embraced a life dedicated to proclaiming the Good News.
His faith journey wasn’t without its trials, but in each challenge, he found God to be faithful.
His life became a living testament to the reality that God does indeed supply all our needs according to His riches in glory.

As we reflect on this testimony, let us be inspired to trust in the promises of our loving Father.
Let us dare to “prove” Him, knowing that He is faithful, and His word stands forever.
May the legacy of this faithful servant of God encourage us to walk in unwavering faith, trusting that our God is a provider, healer, and a keeper of promises.

Revival in a Day

I want to take you back to the moment when you first heard that voice – a voice that resonated with divine purpose and set in motion a series of events that would change your life forever.
In the face of challenges, you uttered, “No problem!” and clung to the belief that a higher power was orchestrating divine set-ups and encounters.
The scripture spoke to your situation, promising a fresh baptism of the Spirit and fire of love, an exponential increase that could be felt deep within.

“They were just so good to me,” you recall, echoing the sentiment of gratitude for the unexpected blessings and encounters that have graced your journey.
The promise of doubled inheritances and the restoration of broken hearts and marriages fills the air with hope and anticipation.

As you navigated the intricate workings of motivation, you chose to let others go their way, declaring that it is their road, be it a low or high one.
And in this declaration, you found rescue and fruitfulness, making it indeed a not-so-bad day’s work for all involved.

And here you stand, having followed your heart, and believed in your idea, wielding a position of power where others must play by your rules.
Your “Will” dictates the distribution of blessings.

Reflecting on the last 25 years as Christians, we’ve witnessed and heard about revivals across various locations.

The terminology surrounding these revivals often includes start and finish dates, attempting to measure their duration.

The Lord has revealed that in your comeback, you are destined to emerge stronger in the revelation of His Word.
I declare that a new season awaits you—a season of profound revelation and a deepening understanding of the power inherent in His Word.

Let us draw inspiration from the story of Joseph, who, after the departure of the wise men, received divine guidance through angels in a dream.
These heavenly messengers imparted information that led Joseph towards a new direction, not just for himself but for the future of his family.
In this moment, envision your life as a well-watered garden, flourishing with the wisdom and guidance bestowed upon you by the Almighty.

As Joseph received a message to make his own, so too are you being given a divine message to carry forward.
It is a message filled with the richness of God’s Word.

Consider the story of Peter who, through a spiritual encounter with God, was instructed to change his attitude towards the Gentiles. Amidst this spiritual language and vision, a knock at the door brought an unexpected turn of events—a group of men requesting him to speak at the house of a Gentile.
Embracing this divine invitation, he found himself in a revival the very next day.
In your journey, be open to the unexpected twists and turns orchestrated by the divine, for they may lead to a revival in your own life.

Recently, I encountered someone whose life has taken a turn for the better.
Even during challenges, there is a noticeable difference in the way she carries herself.
It’s as if she has been adorned with a regal destiny—an effect you might liken to a gold medal.
The normal has become abnormal, showcasing the extraordinary work of God’s grace in her life.

As we navigate the complexities of our individual journeys, let us hold fast to the promise that the Lord is releasing an abundance of revelation regarding His Word.
Embrace the unexpected, change your attitude in alignment with His will, and be prepared for the revival that awaits you.

The Lord declares, ‘Dreams are coming to pass SUDDENLY.’

In this divine proclamation, the Lord assures us that He has saved the best until last.
Promotion and favour are cascading upon people who have wholeheartedly said, “YES,” and are walking faithfully in His ways. The revivalists among us are now being called forth.
You have been prepared for such a time as this.
Do not hide, for now is the time to ARISE and SHINE.
As you are called forth, know that you have been equipped with ALL that you need to accomplish ALL that He is asking you to do in your place of influence.

His abundance flows within you, and you carry the richness of His grace and favour.
May you be surrounded by the generosity of others, both spiritually and materially.

The book of Hebrews reminds us that God calls another day “Today.”

Today, you were introduced to the Son of God Himself.
Before this divine encounter, limits held you in check, and opposition stood unified in its attempt to thwart your progress.
But now, a new era has dawned.

In the journey of faith, some may find themselves growing bored with revival.
This boredom often arises when individuals cease to receive a touch from God, or if they do experience a touch from heaven, they consider it sufficient and move on, ceasing to enter His presence continually.

May you embrace this divine call to arise, shine, and enter a season of unprecedented favour and expansion.
May the wells of His presence overflow in your life, and may you walk boldly in the assignments appointed for you.

A gathering place for eagles!

Love, Fire, and Eagles

We are under the watchful gaze of the Lord, our hearts ignited by the words of John: “True and genuine Love for one another that is void of hypocrisy and backbiting will begin to spring forth as his beloved has been matured and purified in the fire.”

This is a season of refinement, a furnace of grace where our love is tempered, not to break, but to become stronger.
Like gold in the crucible, the dross falls away, leaving behind a love as pure and radiant as sunlight.
This is the love that conquers death, the love that binds us together in a fiery embrace.

But this fire is not one of destruction.
It is a baptism of holiness, a purging flame that clears the path for the Lord’s work.
Remember the words of the encourager: “I am raising up a group of leaders among you, who are prepared for the call.”
We, the Church, are the crucible from which this leader will emerge, forged in the fires of our shared devotion.

And what will follow?
A refuge, a gathering place for the eagles!
Those majestic birds, soaring on wings of righteousness, will find their home among us.
We are to be more than just a birthing place; we are to be a sanctuary, a haven where the Spirit can rest and renew His mighty host.

For too long, the spirit of religion has held sway, its chalices brimming with empty promises and its idols casting long shadows.
But this season declares: “I will overturn her tables and evict what has sought to spin My glory into mammon.”
The wind of change is blowing, a fresh baptism of holiness sweeping through the land.

And in the midst of this whirlwind, we see a mighty eagle hovering above us.
With every beat of His wings, a wave of intercession rises, a chorus of prayers that echo the rhythm of His heart.
Let us join our voices to His, let our travails of prayer become a symphony of faith.

This is a call to arms; we are not to be bystanders in this great drama.
We are the actors, the instruments through which the Lord’s will unfolds.
It is time to rise above the whispers of doubt and the sting of disappointment, to cast off the shackles of complacency and embrace the fire that refines.

Remember the words of the encourager: “Be prepared because this posture will ruin their plans and you will choose to sit at my feet.”
This is not about idleness; it is about trust.
It is about surrendering our plans to the divine orchestration, about resting in the knowledge that He will lead the way.

The honeymoon phase may fade, but our love for God remains a constant ember, waiting to be fanned into a roaring flame.
Let us not be discouraged by the storms that may come, for they are but a prelude to the glorious dawn that awaits.

This is the year of the ox, a year of relentless pursuit and unwavering determination.
The ox tears down the altars of religion and the idols of man, paving the way for a new era of righteousness.
We are the oxen, yoked together in a common purpose, a generation called to turn nations back to God.

The eagles are restless, their wings beating against the bars of their cage.
But soon, they will be released, soaring on currents of divine grace, their cry a clarion call to the world.
Let us be ready, to join their flight, to carry the message of love and redemption to the ends of the earth.

For this is our calling, this is our destiny:
the Church of fire,
the Church of eagles,
the Church of love that conquers all.
Let us go forth, with hearts ablaze and wings outstretched, ready to meet the dawn of a new era.
