What does it really mean to live by faith?
And how can our faith grow from something we believe in our minds into something that shapes the way we live?

These are questions I have been exploring for many years.
Between February 2011 and January 2014, I undertook a three-year experiment:
I read the New Testament aloud every week to discover whether repeatedly hearing God’s Word would cause my faith to grow.
That experience became the foundation for my book, How To Be Rich in Faith (Grow Your Faith Book 1).

Now, I want to take that exploration further by looking at every chapter of the New Testament through the lens of faith.

One chapter at a time

The New Testament contains 260 chapters, and each one contributes something to our understanding of God, Jesus, and the life of faith.
Some chapters speak directly about believing and trusting God.
Others tell stories of people whose faith was tested, challenged, strengthened, or transformed.
Still others reveal things about Jesus that can change the way we understand what it means to follow him.

My aim is to draw a practical message about faith from every chapter, working through the New Testament one chapter at a time.

This is not simply about learning more Bible facts. It is about discovering what each chapter can teach us about trusting God, responding to his Word, and putting faith into practice in our everyday lives.

As we read, we will encounter the faith of ordinary people, the extraordinary things Jesus did, the challenges faced by the early church, and the promises that shaped the lives of the first Christians.
We will also have opportunities to examine our own assumptions about faith and consider whether we have been missing something important in familiar passages.

A journey through the whole New Testament

Each post will focus on one chapter and develop a sermon or practical reflection on what that chapter teaches us about faith. Some will explore well-known passages from a fresh perspective; others may uncover lessons that are easy to overlook.
